Stamp Club April 2018

I demonstrated a spinner card.  It's so fun to watch the butterfly spin across the card!

Spinner Card Directions:
·     Punch a long, thin oval shape in card stock or Designer Paper, making a window.
·     Stamp an image on a separate piece of paper.  Attach a penny to the back.  Then add a dimensional (mini or regular) to the penny.
·     Put the dimensional through the window and peel off the backing.
·     Attach another penny to the dimensional.
-->
·     Attach this to a larger piece of card stock, making sure you have many dimensionals on the back.  You will want the image to be able to spin!

The first card we made uses VersaMark.  The only place we used Island Indigo was to sponge around the edge, and some people used it to stamp the words.  The cards are almost the same, but the card on the right is a step up.  It has Silver Glimmer Paper and the words are embossed with silver embossing powder.  Do you like the fun fold?  It's quick and easy, too!  Even fussy-cutting the flower doesn't toke very long.

stamps:
Blooms and Wishes

paper:
Island Indigo (5 ½” x 8 ½” and 3 ½” x 4 ¾”)
Soft Sky (3 ¾” x 5” and 2 ¼” x 3 ½”)
Whisper White  (3 ½” x 4 ¾”)
Silver Glimmer Paper (1/2” x 4 ¾”)

Island Indigo

accessories:
medium envelope- Whisper White

Simply Scored
paper snips
stamping sponge
dimensionals
bone folder
3/8” ribbon Soft Sky

TIPS:
-Score the card base at 4 ¼” and 2 1/8”.
-Use a bone folder to make the petals of the flower curl up.
-Wrap the ribbon around the Island Indigo card stock.

This card also shows a great way to use VersaMark.  I taped a bunch of strips of card stock together, and then stamped the dragonfly with VersaMark.  How pretty!!  And the words are embossed, using VersaMark ink.

I got the idea for this card from a swap I did with some other demonstrators.  I love to CASE (Copy And Share Everything)!  The punch makes the daisy super easy to cut out!  This was the second card we made.

stamps:
Daisy Delight

paper:
Daffodil Delight (5 ½” x 8 ½”)
Whisper White (4” x 5 ¼”)
Night of Navy  (1/4” x 4”)
Delightful Daisy Designer Paper (3” x 4”)

ink:
Night of Navy

accessories:
medium envelope- Whisper White
punch- daisy
punch- ½” circle
White Perfect Accents
mini glue dots

The last card we made uses the Tutti Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins and the Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder.  I love how they coordinate!

stamps:
Colorful Seasons

paper:
Peekaboo Peach(5 ½” x 8 ½”)
Whisper White
Vellum Card Stock (3” x 4 ½”)

ink:
Peekaboo Peach
Memento Tuxedo Black

accessories:
medium envelope- Whisper White
Big Shot
Stitched Shapes Framelits
#Scattered Sequins Textured Embossing Folder
#Tutti Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins
punch- 2 ¼” circle
dimensionals

TIP:
Emboss the Vellum Card Stock.  Then put adhesive only on the parts that will be covered with other card stock so you don’t see the adhesive.

We had a fun night stamping and visiting at Stamp Club!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stamping!
