Reason to Smile stamping party

Hello stampers!

You are invited to a Reason to Smile Stamping Party!  You may have seen
the special for July.  If you choose to order $50 in SU merchandise, you can get the
new Reason to Smile stamp set for just $5!  At the party, we will do
some projects with that set, as well as some other fun projects.  If you
are not able to attend but would like to place an order so you can get
the set, just send me your order on or before July 30th. 

*I will demonstrate the card, above, and use a paper daisy.
What if you don't have a paper daisy?  I'll show you another quick
and easy way to make a flower!

same night.  At 5:45 on Monday, July 30th I will be sharing information
about being a SU demo: just to get the discount, as a way to make a
little extra money, or as a full-time career.  There will be no pressure
to sign up if it turns out it's not right for you. But you'll leave
knowing why I LOVE being a SU demo!  We'll do an extra make-n-take and
you will be able to ask any questions you may have.  If you've ever
thought about it, this is a great opportunity to see if it's right for
you now, later, or never!  Please RSVP by July 29th.

I am Creative class banner

I went to the I am Creative class at the Stampin' Up! convention. We made this fabulous banner. Each banner uses a different technique that a concept artist at SU showed during the class. I can't wait to make some more banners for Fall, Christmas, etc!

Convention 2012

The Stampin' Up! Convention is fantastic again this year! I can't wait to show you the things I am learning!!! One of the classes I took at Convention 2012 is "I am Doing Business My Way". Bonnie Thurber from the home office lead the discussion between two SU demonstrators (Tami White and Ronda Wade) about different types of events they hold. I can't wait to try some of their ideas out and make stamping even more fun than ever!

Coming in July!

This card uses the Reason to Smile set (available only in July!!) and Curly Cute. The cs is Always Artichoke, River Rock, and Whisper White.

I got a new (used by Todd) printer and wanted to make sure I could scan. I thought a little preview of July would be a good thing to scan!

New Catalog Workshop 2012

The leaf card (100% CASEed), above, and the Happy Birthday card, below, were both make-n-takes at the New Catalog Workshops on June 1st and 2nd.

I embossed the leaf on the card, above, using the new firm foam pad. It is so juicy that if you stamp and immediately put embossing powder on, it will stick! This card is 90% CASEed. :)


I went to the SU Regionals this past winter and this gift card holder was given to me as a swap. It is so easy to make! One piece of card stock is 5 7/8 x 4 1/4, scored at 2" and 5". The other is 3 7/8 x 4 1/4, scored at 3". The two pieces are attached with Sticky Strip where the shorter folds are. You can then decorate and slip a gift card in. It's a quick and easy way to fancy up a gift card!
