This butterfly card just looks like spring to me!  I demonstrated this card with the Gingham Gala Designer Paper.  It will only be around until the end of May!  And if you like the punch that goes with the butterfly stamp set, they are only bundled together until the end of May (10% off!).  After that you will have to purchase them separately.

 This make-n-take was inspired from a swap I got at On Stage, a demonstrator event put on by Stampin' Up!  Can you believe this stamp set is retiring?  I'm going to miss seeing those beautiful trees in the catalog.  It's a very versatile set!

TIP:

-Put the circle on the card stock.  Sponge on Crushed Curry ink.  Take off the circle and stamp the trees.

 A little wash tape, a few stamps & ink pads, and just like that you have a great looking card!

Stamp Club March 2019

The card I demonstrated is made on a notecard from the Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes.  I made the dots with a sponge dauber and Granny Apple Green ink.  I fussy-cut the frog.  Then I cut a spiral and attached it to the card and the frog.  It's like he's jumping off the page with happiness!

TIP:

-Punch a ¾” circle of card stock.  Cut the ¾” circle in a spiral.  Attach the frog to the outside end of the spiral/circle. Attach the inside part of the spiral/circle to the card.

-The coordinating Hop Along Framelits are available until the end of March!

A monochromatic card was our first make-n-take.  I love the butterflies from the Enjoy Life stamp set!

TIP:

-When stamping the large watercolor wash image, flip the stamp over and rub the card stock on the stamp to get a better image.

-Only put 1 dimensionals on the “thank you” circle. 

We used watercolor pencils and an Aquapainter to spotlight the house in the image.

TIP:

Attach the 1 ¼” squares of Designer Paper to the white card stock.  Add stitch lines between the squares.  Run through the Big Shot with an embossing folder.

-Use a large post-it note to mask off the edge of the white paper before stamping and brayering.
