Stamp Club January 2015

This card would make a great non-traditional Valentine's Day card!  To make the paper look like suede, I ran a bone folder over it again and again.  Then I pulled it apart so you can see the middle of the paper.  A little Best Day Ever DSP, some silver glimmer paper for bling, and the card is done!

The Moon Lake set is in the Occasions catalog, and the Gorgeous Grunge set gave a little background to the Marina Mist paper.  The words and image are stamped in Baked Brown Sugar, with just a touch from the Marina Mist marker on the water.  The Adventure Bound DSP in the Occasions catalog used in the background is so neat-- There are designs, and also pictures on trees, rocks, thread...!!  A little Thick Bakers' Twine in Baked Brown Sugar give it a good, rustic finishing touch.

The Bloom with Hope stamp set is a Hostess set in the catalog, and this flower from the set looks great when stamped and punched out with the 2 1/2" circle punch.  So pretty!!  I ran the Cherry Cobbler card stock through the Texture Boutique Machine with the Decorative Dots folder, then attached it to Early Espresso card stock with dimensionals.  The Daffodil Delight Blendabilities markers were used to color the flower.

The Lotus Bloom stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration catalog is so pretty and easy to use.  It comes in photopolymer so it is easy to see where you are stamping when you stamp the 3 parts of the flower.  I used Strawberry Slush, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow, and Whisper White.  To color the Irrisistibly Yours DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, I put a few drops of reinker in a dish, then used the aqua-painter to pick up some color.  I found it worked best if I scribbled on scrap paper first so it wasn't so dark when I colored the paper.  This paper is pre-embossed so you just use a paper towel to remove the excess ink to the embossed areas.

It is Sale-A-Bration time, so you can get GREAT products for FREE for each $50 purchase you make. I love free products!!

Happy Stamping!

Stamping Fun Night January 2015

We made this card with Work of Art stamped off, then stamped 3x for the background.  We stamped the trees in StazOn, then added some Dazzling Details for a little winter shimmer!

This card has a few Sale-A-Bration products on it.  The Lotus Bloom stamp set is so pretty and so easy to use!  We used Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette.  The Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP was sponged with Wild Wasabi ink.  I love how the pre-embossed leaves pop out!

This card was a demonstration.  The Best Year Ever DSP is also a Sale-A-Bration product.

How do you get those great Sale-A-Bration products??  With each $50 purchase from now until March 31, 2015, you can pick any Sale-A-Bration product for FREE!!

Happy Stamping!

Stamp Club December 2014

The card, above, was going to be one of the make-n-takes, until I realized I was totally out of Lost Lagoon card stock!

I DID have some Pear Pizzazz card stock, though!  When you emboss the silver foil sheets...SOOO cool!

This snowman is made with All Is Calm Specialty DSP and a 2 1/2" circle cut in half.  Just pop the white on the DSP and he's got a hat!  We embossed the Pear Pizzazz with the Filigree Frame folder.  It looks like snow is swirling around him!

This demo thank you card has a Snowflake Embellishment with a rhinestone jewel in the center.  A little Dazzling Details Silver Sparkle gives it just enough bling!

Our last make-n-take used the Mosaic Madness set with the mosaic punch.  We layered the stamped image over 2 Elegant Eggplant mosaic shapes.  The Fancy Foil Designer Vellum adds an interesting touch to the background!

Happy Stamping!

Stamping Fun Night November 2014

Lost Lagoon was the star on this card, above, along with the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set.  And just a little bling peeking out the corners!

The All is Calm Specialty DSP looks like a holiday paper.  But take a closer look and you'll see tons of possibilities!  Pear Pizzazz is a perfect match-up!

A black and white Christmas card?!  Why not!  The rectangle is made with clear block H and Smoky Slate ink.  And Lovely as a Tree looks...lovely on this card!

It was a fun night of stamping and visiting!

Happy Stamping!

Stamp Club November 2014

The Fancy Foil Designer Vellum is a great background for this card.  Use adhesive on the back of the circles.  Your vellum will stick, but you won't see the adhesive!  The pumpkin is made with the large oval punch.  And that's the All is Calm DSP behind the pumpkin!

Clear emboss on black, using the VersaMark pad gives a different effect.  This is a quick and easy card when you need a sympathy card, or to make ahead so you have a few on hand.  Try switching out the colors if you want the same effect but with brighter colors.

I just love these little snowflake charms!!  Add some snowflakes from the All is Calm DSP and you're ready for winter.  Or at least the card is!  :)

Use sponges and ink pads to make this pretty autumn background.  I used Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, and Mossy Meadow.  Swirl the sponge in a circle as you go to blend the colors better.  Then add a slightly larger piece of Very Vanilla behind, tear the edges, and mount on Basic Black and Mossy Meadow card stock.

It was another fun night stamping with Stamp Club!
