March 2015 Stamping Fun Night
This card uses the Moon Lake stamp set found in the Occasions catalog. I love how I can make manly cards with this set, but it's also great for my fabulous female friends! We colored the bird with Blender Pens and these colors: Soft Suede, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, and Calypso Coral. The DSP is a FREE Sale-A-Bration choice. Get it for FREE with each $50 order until the end of March!
The Lotus Blossom photopolymer set is also a FREE Sale-A-Bration choice with a $50 order. It's sooo pretty!! The card stock is Rose Red, Whisper White, and Blushing Bride. Here's how I stamped the flower:
-Stamp flower #1 with Rose Red. Stamp off once before stamping on your white card stock.
-Stamp flower #2 with Blushing Bride.
-Stamp flower #3 with Blushing Bride. Stamp off once before stamping on your white card stock.
I had the "arrow" part of the flower stamps pointing directly to the top of the card stock.
It may take a little practice to get used to doing this 3-step stamp, but it is worth the practice! The flower is so beautiful! You can also try it with just one color. Here's how: Stamp #1, stamp off once for #2, and stamp off twice for #3.
I demonstrated this card, using Irrisistably Yours DSP (a Sale-A-Bration choice!). I used the InColor markers to color on the card stock, then wiped with a paper towel. Wherever it is embossed, the ink will not stick! Add some Hello Honey ribbon and attach to Tangelo Twist card stock.
It was a fun afternoon of stamping! AND the Badger boys basketball team won the Big 10 championship game. Woohoo!!
Happy Stamping!
Patrice
