Stamp Club February 2016

I demonstrated this card using the Distressed Glue technique.  I put a few drops of Crystal Effects on white card stock, spread it with my finger, and let it dry.  Then I sponged different colors on it, and rubbed it with a paper towel.
stamps: Party Wishes paper: Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White inkTempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Archival Basic Black accessoriesmedium envelope- Whisper White, Party Punch Pack, ribbon- ¼” cotton Melon          Mambo, Crystal Effects, stamping sponge, dimensioanls

The next card uses the Bouncing Brayer technique.  You can ink up your brayer, put one edge in the middle, and bounce/turn the card for a sun/starburst effect.  You have to keep the edge of the brayer in the center of the card stock (which is not as easy as it sounds!)!!

stamps: Another Thank You, What I Love paper: So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Perfect Plum, Whisper White inkSo Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant,    marker- Pear Pizzazz accessoriesmedium envelope- Whisper White, brayer, Wink of Stella-clear (used on the flowers)

Or, you can bounce the brayer up and down the card stock.

You can make your own ink pad for multiple colors.  Use a baby wipe, and put 2-4 different reinkers on it.  Run the brayer across the baby wipe so the color is on the brayer.

You can also bounce in 2 different colors!  I wanted blue and a green stripes on this card, so I bounced with blue, then again with green.

If the color is too dark, roll your brayer over scrap paper once to get rid of some of the ink (like stamping off, but with a brayer!).

The next card is an easel card.  I love how is lays flat to mail, but stands up for display!  The glitter tape is a new Sale-A-Bration choice, available until March 31, 2016.

stamps: Guy Greetings, Sea Street paper: Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla     inkNight of Navy, Soft Suede accessories: medium envelope- Very Vanilla, Metallics Glitter Tape, punch- 1 ¾” circle, punch- 2 ½” circle, punch- ¼” circle, stamping sponge, dimensionals, mini glue dots, Tear and Tape, Simply Scored

The last card we made uses Corrugated Paper and the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers.  Did you know that you can put the epoxy heart on the card stock and THEN punch them both out together?!  Much easier than trying to line them up!  I attached the Corrugated Paper to a piece of white card stock first so I could line them up better, and snipped off the parts that didn't line up quite right.

stampsWatercolor Words paperBlackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake, Basic Black,           Whisper White (3” x 3”), Corrugated Paper inkBlackberry Bliss accessoriesmedium envelope- Crumb Cake, punch 1 ¼” circle, punch- label bracket, punch- Itty Bitty Accents       Punch pack, Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers, dimensionals, mini glue dots, paper snips

We had a fun night of stamping, visiting, and eating yummy snacks!

Happy Stamping!

Cindy's Party- February 2016

I demonstrated this emboss resist card.  The Color Me Irresistible paper is already embossed, making this technique super easy!  Just sponge ink on the paper, and remove the excess ink on the embossed area with a paper towel.  The flowers are stamped with the 2-step stamp What I Love, then cut out.

stamps: What I Love paper: Pear Pizzazz, Watermelon Wonder, Daffodil Delight, Color Me  Irresistible Designer Paper ink: Watermelon Wonder, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, StazOn jet black accessories: medium envelope Whisper White, stamping sponge, paper snips, mini glue dots, dimensionals

This make-n-take had all types of variations at the party!  I love to see how people take the same supplies and make many different cards!

Roxie's party February 2016

After taking a look at the Envelope Punch Board and how it can make envelopes AND be a corner rounder, I showed this card with the Sky is the Limit stamp set (only available through February 15th).  Quick and easy, and great for a "guy" card!
Supplies: stamps: Sky is the Limit paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Going Places Designer       Paper Stack ink: Chocolate Chip, Lost Lagoon accessories: medium envelope Very         Vanilla, AquaPainter, 1/8” mini brads, paper piercer and mat, stamping sponge, dimensionals

We made this Valentine card, which would also make a great anniversary card!  Remember to flip the glitter paper upside down before running it through the Big Shot so the die makes a cleaner cut.  We used the Envelope Punch Board as our corner rounder.  Two tools in one!
Supplies: stamps: Watercolor Words paperRose Red, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper ink: Soft Suede accessoriesmedium envelope Very Vanilla, Big Shot, Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit, Pricision Base Plate, Big Shot Die Brush, envelope punch board,          candy dots-regals, dimensionals

The Thick Whisper White was great for this card.  It will stand up nice and tall!  The little bit of Wink of Stella on the candles almost makes them seem like they are lit!

Supplies: stampsParty Wishes paperWhisper White, THICK Whisper White, It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack inkMint Macaron, Crushed Curry, Archival Basic Black accessoriesmedium envelope Whisper White, Party Punch Pack, Baker’s Twine Combo        Pack, Wink of Stella Gold, Big Shot, Ovals Framelits, stamping sponge, Two-Way Glue Pen, dimensionals

We had a fun afternoon of stamping and visiting!  And we all got home in time to watch the SUper Bowl.  Or at least the commercials!  :)

Happy Stamping!
