Stamping Fun Night September 2018

The stamp set might say "Christmas", but it can be a fall card, too!  I demonstrated this card using colors that make you think of fall trees.

stamps:
Making Christmas Bright

paper:
Garden Green (4 ¼”x 11”)
Crushed Curry (4” x 5 ¼”)
Cajun Craze (3 ¾” x 5”)
Very Vanilla (3 ½” x 4 ¾”)

ink:
Garden Green
Crushed Curry
Cajun Craze
marker- Cajun Craze

accessories:
medium envelope- Very Vanilla
punch- 1 ½” circle
dimensionals

TIP:
-Use a marker to use just part of an image.

Using post-it notes to mask off the background is a quick and easy way to add dimension, without adding bulk.  It was fun to see the different ways everyone did the sponging on this make-n-take.
stamps:
Enjoy Life
Pressed Flowers  (hostess set)

paper:
Basic Black (5 ½” x 11”)
Balmy Blue (3 7/8” x 5 1/8”)
Whisper White (3 ¾” x 5”)

ink:
Balmy Blue
Soft Sea Foam
Memento Tuxedo Black

accessories:
medium envelope- Whisper White
stamping sponge
Rhinestone Basic Jewels

TIPS:
-Use post-it notes to mask part of the card.  Then use sponges to add color.
-*Try the NEW Take Your Pick tool!  Find it on page 30 of the Holiday catalog.

I love cutting out flowers...with a punch!  The punch made this make-n-take a lot faster!
stamps:
Pop of Petals
Beautiful Bouquet

paper:
Cherry Cobbler (5 ½” x 8 ½”and 1 ¾” x 2 ¼”)
silver foil (2” x 2 ½”)
Whisper White (4” x 5 ¼”)

ink:
Cherry Cobbler

accessories:
medium envelope- Whisper White
punch- four-petal flower
ribbon- silver metallic edge
Suite Season Specialty Washi Tape
Shimmer Paint- frost white
dimensionals

TIP:
-Use a Q-tip to apply the Shimmer Paint.  The less expensive the Q-tip, the better it works!
