Stamp Club November 2021

 

I demonstrated this card, using a torn sticky note and sponge daubers.

TIP:

Use large sticky notes.  Tear off the side (of 2) opposite the sticky part.  Put on top of paper to act as a mask.  Use a sponge dauber and 2-4 inks, add color between the 2 sticky notes.  Remove sticky notes and stamp image.

TIPS

-This technique is called Emboss Resist.  Emboss the image in white, on white paper.  Rub ink over the paper.  Rub off the extra ink from the embossed images with a paper towel.

-Use the Embossing Buddy (retired) or a used dryer sheet to reduce static.  Then your powder won’t stick as much to places you don’t want it to!

-The retired Adhesive Backed Snowflakes also look nice on this card!

TIPS:

-Score an 8 ½ x 11 piece of card stock at 5 ½ and 4 ¼.  Cut off the bottom left corner.  Fold the paper.  Add your designs and words!

-Do not add too many embellishments to the inside or the card will not fold flat.
