Stamp Club November 2018

The easel card can be cut and folded with your Stampin' Trimmer!  I also demonstrated the Direct-to-Paper technique.  Simply drag your ink pad over the yardstick!  Either do in a straight line across, or in a random pattern.

stamps:

Happy Birthday Gorgeous

paper:
Early Espresso
Balmy Blue
Very Vanilla

ink:
Crushed Curry

Easel Card
·       Cut a piece of 5 ½” x 8n ½” card stock.
·       Put the long end of the paper in the Stampin’ Trimmer, with ¾” on the right side of the blade.
·       Cut from 1” to 5 ¼”.
·       Flip the card stock over and repeat with the other side.
-->
·       Use the scoring blade to score the ¾” part at 1”, 2” and 5 ¼”.  Score the center piece at 4 ¼”.

And here are some color variations of the same card!

TIP:
-Stamp and punch the words.  Punch holes in each side.  Then run the ribbon through the hole and under the tag.  Wrap around the Designer Paper and tie a knot.

I like how the Shimmer Paint makes a nice winter woods scene!  We also did the Faux Suede technique.
  • Curl a piece of card stock with a bone folder.  Do the entire piece of card stock.   Flip the card stock over occasionally.  This will break the fibers in the card stock.
  • Carefully pull the card stock apart. If it is not pulling apart easily, continue to use the bone folder on the card stock.
