Sneak Peek 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up! Catalog!-Feather Card

The NEW Tasteful Touches stamp set in the 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up! Catalog is a great set!  It has images and words that work great for so many types of cards!  I used this stamp set and the NEW Faux Suede Trim in Early Expresso to make this card. So fun!

The Faux Suede Trim is so soft!  It is fun and easy to work with!

Virtual One Sheet Wonder Class May 2020

Here are the cards from the Virtual One Sheet Wonder Class!  Have fun making your cards exactly the same, or come up with your own designs!  

This is a SUPER EASY pattern for the One Sheet Wonder Class!!  You can cut the Designer Series Paper and card stock and make 9 cards in no time!  Have fun!

Virtual One Sheet Wonder CARD KITS, May 2020

KIT A-SOLD OUT

Card Kits for the Virtual One Sheet Wonder Class include all of these supplies!  The card bases, Designer Paper pre-cut, card stock cut or punched, envelopes, and card stock for inside card.  

Plus, a copy of the template!

The cost of the kit is $5 if you pick it up from my deck box, and $10 for me to mail it to you.  

Please let me know which Designer Paper you would like, and which color card stock you would like as the card base (one color per kit).  I will update the available Designer Paper choices daily.  

First come, first serve for Designer Paper choices!

May 2020 Virtual Stamping Fun Night

Virtual Stamping Fun Night was lots of fun!  I'm so glad so many of you were able to stamp with us on Facebook!  I demonstrated one card, and everyone could do 3 make-n-takes.  It was fun to see everyone's cards when they were done stamping!

TIPS:

Attach half of a Pearlized Doily to the back of the card stock.  Then add 2 small pieces of Whisper White card stock as “ribbon”.

Designer Paper is a stamper's best friend!  This is also Perennial Essence Designer Paper, but the "back" side.  It's more subtle, but adds a lot more dimension than just card stock!

TIPS:

-Put adhesive on the vellum only where it will be covered up by the daisy.  

-Set the square with the daisy on the card before attaching the card stock/ribbon so it is where you want it.

Aren't split-panel; cards fun?!?!

The top and bottom parts of the front of the card are separate, until you attach them with another piece of card stock!  Just make sure you line everything up before you adhere it all together!

TIPS:

-The Night of Navy is 4 ¼” x 7 ½”, then scored at 2”.

-Line up the bottom panel with the bottom of the card.  Then attach the card stock with the image on it so it is attached to both the top and bottom pieces.

Card Stock Storage AND Sneak Peek- NEW 2020-2022 In Colors!

I've stored my card stock in plastic hanging file folder boxes for years!  I love the way I can easily flip through the colors, and see a whole color family at once.  These boxes keep out light, and my paper is never crushed on the edges.  

I keep extra packs of card stock on hand, and this box works perfect for storing these, too!  I don't use file folders in this box.  It's full enough with packs of card stock!

Did you peek in the second storage box and see the NEW InColors??  They are going to be so much fun to paper craft with!!  They will be available June 3, 2020.  Here they are:

Life is Beautiful card

The Perennial Essence Designer Paper is gong to be hard to say good-bye to in June!  It is soooo beautiful!  It's like I'm working with a masterpiece every time I make a card or project with it!

I wanted to use up some pieces I had left over from other projects.  I had a few pieces that were          2 3/4" wide.  I added some coordinating card stock, and I was all set!  I was able to make 3 cards!  What a great feeling!

You Make Me Smile!

I had fun making this card and, honestly, they look better than any flowers I try to grow myself!  My mom and siblings have green thumbs, but that gene must have pasted me by!

I used a blender pen to blend in a little color in the flower petals a little. Blender pens work great with water based ink pads!  It pulls in just a little color! 

Don’t forget to make the inside special, too!
