TIP:

After you add the embossing powder to the images stamped on the vellum, take a small paintbrush and remove any extra specks of embossing powder.  The embossing powder likes to cling to the vellum!

TIPS:

-Cut the Sahara Sand card base (4 ¼ x 11).  Then score at 2 ¾ & 8 ¼.

-The Designer Paper pieces are 1 7/8 x 2 ½.

-You can tape the Designer Paper together first, and then attach to the Early Espresso if you want.

-Remember to only put adhesive on the top of the front piece!

TIP: 

If you are using a marker to color just part of a stamp, make sure the rest of the stamp is very clean.  Otherwise, you might get a “shadow” of the rest of the image.

TIPS:

-Slide the vellum in the punch so one end will not be punched.  Punch one end.  Then turn the vellum around and punch the other end, making sure the punched end is sticking out.

-Use the lines on the flower images to add Dark Daffodil Delight.  Blend in with Light Daffodil Delight.

TIPS:

-Stamp the image and words.  Then use a punch or die to punch out a section of the image.  Color the punched out part, and attach with dimensionals.  This will “spotlight” that part of the image.

-The Misty Moonlight marker was too dark, so I used ink from the top of the ink pad and a blender pen to get a lighter shade.  Just press the ink pad together when it is closed and you will have a small pool of ink to use!  This sample shows the bird on the left colored with the marker, and the other birds colored with the blender pen and ink pad.

-The Basic White is 3 ¼ x  8 ¾ (One for the outside and one for the inside.)

-The Night of Navy is 3 1/8 x 8 5/8.

-The Designer Paper is cut in half through the middle (the white part between the treetops).  Then cut so it is 3 x 6.  The woodgrain part of the Designer Paper is 2 ½ x 3.

TIPS:

-This technique is called Triple Time Stamping.  Use just a little adhesive to layer 3 pieces of card stock on top of each other.  On this card, there is 1” difference between each layer.  Stamp images so they are on 2-3 of the layers.  Separate, then add a coordinating card stock layer and embellishments.

TIPS:

-Rub the (retired) embossing buddy or a used dryer sheet on the card stock before embossing to reduce static.  A small paintbrush also helps remove unwanted specks of embossing powder before you heat it.

-This is called the Glow Technique.  Stamp an image with White Craft ink on Basic Black card stock.  Clean the stamp, and stamp again with regular ink.
