September 2016 Stamping Fun Night

I demonstrated this card, which I CASEed from a swap I was in.  I love how you can take a card idea you see, and use the stamps and accessories you have on hand to make a similar, yet unique, card!

stamps:
Botanical Blooms
Watercolor Wishes Card Kit

paper:
Pool Party (5 ½” x 8 ½”)
Bermuda Bay (3 ½” x 4 1/8”)
Whisper White (3” x 4”)

ink:
Pool Party
Bermuda Bay

accessories:
medium envelope- Whisper White
3/8” glitter ribbon combo pack
ribbon- 1/8” stitched Bermuda Bay
Dazzling Details Silver Sparkle
mini glue dots

This card is quick and easy, but looks like you spent some time on it!  To make the lighter Sugarplum color, just stamp-off on a piece of scrap paper before stamping on your good card stock.  It was fun to see the different variations of this card at Fun Night!  Some had the flowers in a  row, some had them scattered on the card front... Great designs with the same basic materials!

stamps:
Swirly Bird
Watercolor Words

paper:
Sweet Sugarplum (4 ¼” x 11”)
Very Vanilla (4” x 5 ¼”)

ink:
Sweet Sugarplum
So Saffron
Pear Pizzazz
Archival Basic Black

accessories:
medium envelope- Very Vanilla
ribbon- 3/8” ruched Sweet Sugarplum
mini glue dots

 stamps:
Totally Trees

paper:
Always Artichoke (5 ½” x 8 ½”)
Copper Foil Sheets (3 ¾” x 5”)
Very Vanilla (3 ¼” x 4 ½”)

ink:
Cajun Craze
Crushed Curry
Always Artichoke
Archival Basic Black

accessories:
medium envelope- Very Vanilla
stamping sponge
2” circle punch
Big Shot
Hello You Thinlits
Precision Base Plate
Die Brush
Fine Tip Glue Pen

TIPS:
-Cut a piece of scrap paper 3 ¼” x 4 ½”.  Punch a circle with the 2” punch.  Use this as your mask when you sponge on the ink and stamp the trees.
-Cut out the center of the Copper Foil Sheet before you run it through the Big Shot.
-Use waxed paper over the word when adhering to the card.  Then your hands (and the words) will have less of a chance of getting glue on them.

Happy Stamping!
