May 2018 Stamp Club

I demonstrated this card for the last Stamp Club get-together for this catalog year.
It was a fun year of stamping, visiting, and making memories!

The Just Getting Started Bundle is so versatile!  I love the FREE notecards and envelopes!  I also used VersaMark ink, Share What You Love Designer Paper (available in Gotta Have It All bundle, or in the 2018-2019 SU catalog), and dimensionals.

We learned the Black Ice technique.  It works with Archival Basic Black, but that will take longer to dry than StazOn.  My biggest tip when doing this technique is to use a VERY light touch when rubbing the VersaMark pad over the copper foil sheet!  The embossing powder sticks to the small amount of VersaMark, making little dots of "black ice"!

paper:
Basic Black
Sahara Sand
Copper Foil Sheets

ink:
Archival Basic Black
OR
StazOn jet black

accessories:
medium envelope- Very Vanilla

The easiest way I have found to do Reverse Image Stamping is with waxed paper.  I added ground and water with an AquaPainter dipped in reinker.  The edges of the Crumb Cake card stock are roughed up with the edge of the Paper Snips.

stamps:
Lovely as a Tree
Tabs for Everything

paper:
Always Artichoke
Crumb Cake
Wood Textures Designer Stack

ink:
Always Artichoke
Soft Suede
Soft Sky

accessories:

Use the Stampin' Pierce Mat to get even coverage when you stamp.

Simple or stepped up, the card will be a hit to whoever receives it!  You can't see the pearlized glimmer on the designer paper, but it is beautiful!
