Stamping Fun Night (Morning!)

We worked our way through the seasons at the October Stamping Fun Night (held at 10:00 in the morning!).  The first card has the beautiful Copper Embossing Powder on it.  LOVE!!  And those Enamel Dots might say "Halloween" on the package, but I am finding lots of other uses for them besides just Halloween!

When we did the watercoloring, we didn't try to be "perfect".  We used the water and ink to blend the colors on the watercolor paper.  Each card was unique, just like the trees in fall!

TIPS:
-Use the Aqua Painter to wet the Watercolor Paper.  Then use ink from the inside of the ink pad to add color to the paper.  Let dry.
-Stamp all of the trees with VersaMark.

Next up was Halloween!  The Halloween Night Specialty Paper was an obvious choice for a Halloween card!  But imagine this card with a pumpkin (not a jack-o-landern) and some Old Olive card stock in place of the Basic Black... Stamp "Happy Fall!" or "Just for You!" or "Happy Thanksgiving!" and you have the same card design that works perfectly with a different holiday or sentiment!

stamps:
My Hero
Teeny Tiny Wishes

paper:
Pumpkin Pie (5 ½” x 8 ½ and ¾” x 4”)
Basic Black (4” x 5 ¼”)

Birthday card or Christmas card????  That was the dilemma of the people at Fun Night (Morning).  I love them both!!  Flip the Designer Series Paper (DSP) over for a totally different card!

present card
stamps:
Build A Birthday (birthday card)
OR
Flurry of Wishes (Christmas card)

paper:
Thick Whisper White (5 ½” x 8 ½”)
Emerald Envy (4” x 5 ¼ and 2 ¼” x 3 ½”)
Whisper White  (3 ¼” x 5”)
Presents and Pinecones Designer Paper (2” x 3 ¼”)

ink:
Emerald Envy (birthday card)
OR
Cherry Cobbler (Christmas card)

accessories:
medium envelope-Whisper White
ribbon- Emerald Envy 3/8” Ruched
dimensioanls
mini glue dots

TIPS:
-Stamp the words first.
-Attach the Designer Series Paper (DSP)  and ribbon to the “present”.  Don’t adhere to the card yet.
-Attach the ribbon to the white card stock using the “present” and words as a guide.  The ribbon most likely won't be right in the center.
-Then use dimensionals to attach the present.
-Use a glue dot to attach the bow.

"Where's Thanksgiving???",  you might ask.  Well, we decided that the snacks I had out to munch on would count as our Thanksgiving project!  It worked for us!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stamping!
